Two Firm Lawyers Present at National Environmental Policy Act Conference

Two Ducker, Montgomery, Lewis & Bess attorneys spoke at a two-day conference on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) in Denver, Colorado on October 28th and 29th, 2010.  Steve Imig spoke on trends in judicial decisions and litigation involving NEPA, including NEPA litigation over oil and gas and energy development projects on federal lands and involving federal permits.   Partner Zeke Williams moderated a panel discussion about the practical application of NEPA by a former Assistant Secretary of the Department of the Interior, a Bureau of Land Management State Director, and a representative of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources.  Zeke helped organize the two-day conference, attended by over 350 people from public and private companies, state and federal government agencies, law firms, and universities.

Zeke Williams, Steve Imig, and other Firm lawyers practice federal and state natural resources and environmental law and litigation involving NEPA, federal public lands, natural resources and energy development, wildlife, water quality, air quality, cultural resources, and other issues.  The Firm acts as business, regulatory, and litigation counsel to renewable and conventional energy developers, oil and gas companies, ski areas, trade associations, real estate developers, mining companies, and landowners.
