Megan practices litigation and focuses primarily on employment matters, defending businesses of all sizes from claims involving various types of discrimination, breach of contract, harassment and hostile work environment, and wrongful discharge. Megan has represented clients facing employment claims in both state and federal court as well as administrative charges in various government agencies such as the EEOC, CCRD, OSHA, and DOL. She also provides counseling targeted at litigation avoidance.
Prior to joining the firm, Megan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Laurie A. Booras at the Colorado Court of Appeals. She also interned during law school for the Honorable Kristen L. Mix at the United States District Court District of Colorado as well as the Consumer Protection division of the Colorado Attorney General's office. Before law school, Megan was a copywriter and proofreader for marketing agencies and corporate clients ranging from retail operations to local healthcare organizations.
